Out Hear Soundwalk with Jim Denley – saxophone and flute
Saturday 11th June, 2-4pm
Jim Denley (Syd) is an inspiring musician with many years experience creating music in Australia’s outdoors. This promises to be a very special event.
Location: Meet at Studley Park Picnic Area, Boathouse Rd, Kew (off Yarra Boulevard) map of studley park
Cost: $10
Artists: birds, insects, Jim Denley, plus you and your footsteps
Things to bring: water, shoes for walking (it’s an easy walk), a snack if you like, and a raincoat/umbrella just in case…there is a covered picnic area where we can hear jim play if it’s raining.
Public transport directions: 18 min bus trip from Melb Central/Lonsdale St. Take the 200 Bus towards Bulleen or the 207 Bus towards Donvale, get off at Yarra Bend Park, Studley Park Rd. Short walk down to picnic area. Buses depart Central at 1:08pm, 1:23pm & 1:38pm.
